Post-Workout Shake

EDIT: I have updated the recipe so that the portion is much smaller and manageable for one person to drink.

After an intense workout, your muscles are in bad shape. They are in need of some quick repair. Here's a recipe that I drink that is high in protein, simple carbs, nutrients, and flavor:

1/4 Cup plain yogurt
3 to 4 frozen whole strawberries
1/2 Banana
1/2 Cup milk
30g (1 Scoop) whey protein (I use chocolate flavored)

That's right, you counted three delicious flavors in that shake. Strawberries, bananas, and chocolate.

Here is a good summary of how post-workout shakes rush nutrients to your muscles for better recovery. And better muscle recovery means more muscle mass, which in turn means more fat burning. It also means you're not wasting your time in the gym.
