Netflix for Iphone

Netflix is finally available for the Iphone and Ipod touch in the Apple appstore. Despite the small screen, the picture quality is superb. Now I finally have something to do to keep me occupied while waiting for my classes to start.

JailbreakMe 2.0

Now that jailbreaking are now legal, it has never been easier to do. There is a Safari-based web app named JailbreakMe that jailbreaks your handset in a computer-free fashion. It's incredibly simple. It installs the app directory Cydia, which provides countless open-source apps that don't have to be approved by Apple. It has many emulators, themes, tweaks, and many (legal) repositories you can add that broadens your app selection.

iOS4

The iOS4 update is coming soon, and for the iPod/iPhone owner, this is exciting. At least the owners of the iPod touch 3g and the iPhone 3gs. The new features are the very things that I wanted to be upgraded, including multitasking, creating folders, and a home screen wallpaper. Here is a list of the iPod features, and the iPhone.

Netflix on Ipod Touch

I recently bought a 32-gig Ipod touch and I've had quite the adventure integrating the Ipod and Ubuntu 10.04. One thing that I'm very excited for to say the least that will be coming very soon in the future is an app that is being developed right now that allows Netflix to stream on the Ipod Touch and Iphones this summer. As soon as I heard about this I resurrected my Netflix account and I am now waiting patiently.
