My family bought our first computer in 1994. It was an AST computer that we bought from Circuit City in Hickory. It had Windows 3.1 (you read that right). In fact, although each brand name had the same version of Windows, I can remember each brand having a different interface when browsing through the PCs in the store.
Shortly after having a PC in the home, I learned about monitor screen resolutions and how they have a much sharper image than TV's. Being a gamer at heart, my thought was "Why don't they make it so you can hook up video games to the computer monitor so you get a better picture?"
A few years later and you get some LCD monitors that have RCA inputs, and today, HDTV's have completely merged together TV's and PC monitor functionality. I should have gotten paid for my idea.

I guess that was a silly question, you can be in accounting and still love technology.
I also sent Capcom a letter when I was a kid suggesting they make a Mega Man RPG, because Mega Man games were awesome, and RPGs were great too. What a bomb that was.
Oh I tried going into computers and technology. My first class was in Java. It was supposed to be for people who had never programmed before. My learning style and the professor's teaching style never really connected. So I left that field pretty quick. But I still love technology and have a passion for it.
